Wowsiers, It’s Friday

Wow. It’s two in the afternoon and I just realized it’s Friday, which is my day to do something here at the blog. Expect something shorter and not as titliating as last week’s toilet paper discussion.

I found I love someone else, or well, I like a lot, I’ll say since I couldn’t even tell you the color of her hair. Really, you should at least know the color of someone’s hair (bottle ump’d or natural, either way) before you can truly love someone. But anyway, she’s partly the reason why I have forgotten it’s Friday.

She makes me think (OH! The horror!) and she pushes me to do better because she believes I can (now what’s not to like about that?) and she tells when I’ve given her something crappy (how can you not fall in love with honesty).  Smoke up your hind-end feels good for the moment, but blunt honesty is forever. 🙂 (perhaps I should put that in my signature, what you do you think? I will, at least, Twitter it…..okay, I’m back).

Cross your fingers everyone that I get all these edits done right, because Laura Kelly is one awesome-tastic-wonderful person to work with and I really want to turn my story around and into the masterpiece she believes that it can be.

…..running back to my cave to dive face first in my story and get this thing together.

How do you handle critism? If you can’t tell, I’m more of a, “cool, thanks for your input. can we fix it?” kind of gal. Where do you fall? Have you ever faced revisions and what did you do? Take a leap of faith that this will make your story better or did you shy away?
