The Must Read of ALL Time!

It has something for everyone.

Men, women, young adults and children.

There are love stories, murders, deceit, hope, instructions, and miracles.

It is one large book with sixty-six books in it.

Some of you might know that I am talking about the Bible.  The book to read and celebrate today, and every day!

I plan on reading the Bible in one year.  If you want a reading partner let me know.

  1. Oddly enough, I’m planning on doing the same. Not the entire Bible, but at least some key parts, because I’m writing a character whose father was an Episcopalian minister and who has suffered a crisis of faith, but can’t stop himself from referring back to the Bible in moments of emotional need. Should be a real learning experience for all of us.

  2. Best book review ever! 🙂

    Merry Christmas

  3. How can you argue with that review?

Thing is – there are some incredible stories in the Bible – just pull out some of those plots and try and use them. Not to mention Song of Songs is soooo romantic and sensual. Really beautiful.

And, Kari Lynn, I love the sound of that book.

I’ve read large parts of the Bible and love the history held within, not to mention the inspiration, but I’ve never read the entire thing. Good luck with it. I’m rooting you on!

  4. I’ve read the bible through…I think twice and I’m excited for you! : ) Are you starting with Genesis?
